After playing a crucial role in Vishnuvardhan’s Yatchan, actor Adil Hussain will be essaying a prominent character in Shankar’s 2.0 starring Rajinikanth and Amy Jackson in the lead. Currently, shooting of the movie is progressing at a swift pace at EVP park in Poonamallee.
Recently, Adil Hussain who has started shooting for his portions in 2.0 posted a picture with Rajinikanth which grabbed everyone’s attention. When DC contacted Adil to know more about his meet-up with Rajinikanth, he said, “I was not shooting with Rajinikanth on the day when I took this picture. Rajini dropped on the sets one day and casually asked Shankar about the shooting and the actors who were part of the schedule. When he heard that I was acting my portions, he expressed his interest in meeting me. I was over the moon when I heard that the Superstar wants to talk to me. That proves his humility. This is one quality that every actor in the country should learn from him!”
The English Vinglish actor claims that he is extremely fortunate to have met the Kabali star. “Rajinikanth has seen my works in Hindi and appreciated my performance. I told him, ‘If I don’t take a picture with you, my family would probably kill me.’ He laughed at the joke and obliged for a photograph. This was my brief meeting with the star I adore,” he stated.
He became tight-lipped when we asked about his character in the film. “I can’t reveal anything about it or my look from the film. All I can say is that I will be shooting with Rajinikanth in the coming days and I am eagerly looking forward to it,” he concluded.
