Ace comedian Mayilsamy’s son Yuvan Mayilsamy has been roped in to play the lead hero in a film titled Vaaikka Thagararu, directed by Suresh K Venkidi. Actor Vijay Raj will also be seen as one of the leads.
Having worked under Malayalam filmmakers like K. Madhu, Sudhishankar and writer Captain Bose, Suresh claims that the film will have live narration. “Vaaikka…is a family drama laced with sentiments and humour and both Yuvan Mayilsamy and Vijay Raj have substantial roles and scope to prove their acting talents.” Noted music composer Deva, missing from action for a while now, is back with this film, which is set in rural milieu.
