Hyderabad: Meera Jasmine, who has been missing from the Tamil film scenario for the last several years, has joined the cast of Test, the directorial debut of popular producer Sashikanth of YNot Studios. The film features Madhavan, Nayanthara and Siddharth in the lead.
Interestingly, Meera started her career in K’Town as Maddy’s pair in Run, which was a blockbuster. Later, Mani Ratnam brought the duo together in his 2004 flick Aayutha Ezhuthu which was talked about for their sizzling chemistry.
Sources say that Meera portrays a crucial role in the pan-Indian film, billed as ‘a powerful and poignant story about the triumph of the human spirit and the enduring values of sportsmanship, camaraderie, and perseverance.’
