Ko 2 is not a film against politicians

Directed by Sarath, the movie is releasing this Friday three days prior to the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.

Today’s youth would hugely connect with my enticing character in Ko 2, which is a political thriller,” says national-award-winner Bobby Simha on his role in the sequel to the 2011 blockbuster Ko. The movie, which has Prakash Raj playing a powerful politician and Nikki Galrani essaying a journo, is said to be based on the Tollywood film Pratinidhi.

Directed by Sarath, the movie is releasing this Friday — three days prior to the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. But the director vouches that the film has no political controversies in it, and hopes that it will work in his favour.

Bobby says that Ko 2 is a significant film in his career. “We have stressed upon the importance of the youth in today’s politics and social awareness. My combo scenes with Prakash Raj sir are sure to ignite sparks,” the actor reveals.
