Arun Vijay is an excited man these days. He has announced the title of his next big release after Yennai Arindhaal, with Arivazhgan, which is the maiden production venture of his home banner ICE. A medical crime thriller inspired by Rajesh Kumar’s novel, the film has been titled Kuttram 23. Looks like filmmakers are fascinated by numbers in movie titles. Quiz Arun Vijay about this, and pat comes his reply, “The title has a lot of bearing on the script. Incidentally, Kuttram 23 is the 23rd film of my career!”
Arun will be seen as a cop for the first time, and Mahima Nambiar is paired opposite him. “He is not a loud cop. Arivazhagan has made him stylish, and even the filmmaking will have his characteristic stamp on it.” Vishal Chandrashekar has been roped in for the music.
