With his last flick Puli receiving lukewarm response at the box-office, there has been a lot of expectation from Vijay’s upcoming movie Theri, which hits the marquee on April 14. Without taking a break, the actor has quickly moved on to his next film, tentatively titled Vijay 60, the mahurat of which was conducted on Monday at the EVP Studios, along with a little bit of shooting.
Bharathy Reddy of the famed banner Vijaya Productions will be producing the film, which has Keerthi Suresh romancing Ilayathalapathy. Bharathan wields the megaphone and directs Vijay for the second time. Comedian Satish teams up with Vijay once again after Kaththi. The ensemble cast includes Jagapathy Babu, Daniel Balaji, Thambi Ramaiah and Sriman. Santhosh Narayanan will be scoring the music for Vairamuthu’s lyrics, while Sukumar handles duties behind the camera. The shoot will be on within a few days, and a long schedule has been planned at Binny Mills in the city next month.
