Just last month, Gautham Menon kickstarted his project Ennai Nokki Paayum Thotta with Dhanush, and now we hear that he has given the team a couple of months call sheet before Dhanush starts working on his Hollywood venture The Extraordinary Journey of The Fakir alongside Uma Thurman. Sources say that a few scenes and a song will be shot in and around the exotic locations of Turkey. Touted to be an action thriller, it’s being rumoured that Dhanush essays the character of a gangster, while Megha Akash plays the female lead. Rana Daggubati is playing an important character.
Sources add that the team will be off to Mumbai after they complete the existing schedule. Speculation is rife that Rahman was brought on board, while sources say the crew is officially yet to get a music composer. Dhanush posted this picture on Twitter and wrote, “Ennai Nokki Paayum Thotta — Turkey — love my job (sic).” Gautham Menon’s Ondraga Entertainment and Escape Artists are jointly bankrolling this action thriller, which is likely to be released by the end of this year. A video from the sets of the film was shared on Twitter handle by the director himself. It showed Gautham candidly dancing to a song (which isn’t part of the film) and had Dhanush sitting in a corner!
