After the shelving of Sandakozhi’s sequel, Vishal allocated his dates for a new project with director Mysskin. The film, which is interestingly titled Thupparivaalan (investigative officer), went on floors recently with an official mahurat. It should be noted that Vishal and Mysskin were all set to team up earlier, but that did not materialise due to various reasons.
Close sources reveal that the film is based on Anjaathe director’s series of investigative stories. As the title suggests, Vishal is said to be donning the role of an undercover detective. The Pandiya Naadu actor will undergo an image makeover and take a stylish avatar — contrasting to the rural character, which he plays in his upcoming flick Marudhu. Bankrolled by the actor’s home banner Vishal Film Factory, the search for a heroine is happening at a brisk pace.
