Krishna Marimuthu, who debuted with a Tollywood Naga Chaitanya film Yuddham Sharanam, wields the megaphone.

Talking to DC, Krishna says, “The film talks about sperm donation and infertility issues, which is a subject not touched in Tamil cinema. I was initially a bit sceptical. So, I took time to rewrite the script, especially the second half, to suit the sensibilities of Tamil viewers, mainly the family audiences.”

The young director adds, “A family, comedy romantic drama, you cannot call it an adult content film. It is a health awareness film about how stress changes our lives and the repercussions.”

Veteran Vivekh has been roped in to play Dr. Kannadasan, a fertility expert, the role essayed by Annu Kapoor.

So, how did he convince Vivekh to portray the character? “Yes, he did ask for the bound script with the screenplay and was very happy after reading them. His character throws light on a topic considered taboo in our society. And Vivekh Sir is known for his comedy, infused with social consciousness. That way also, we are confident that his advice will be heard.”

Selvakumar, who did Maanagaram, Gypsy etc., is behind the camera while the music composer is yet to be revealed.
