Shriya approached for 100 Degree Celcius remake

We had earlier reported that Raai Laxmi and Nikesha Patel had been finalised to play the lead roles.

After essaying a full-fledged role in Jiiva’s Rowthiram in 2011, Shriya Saran was seen in a couple of blink-and-miss roles in Tamil. Even though she has kept herself busy in Telugu and Hindi, the glam siren was sorely missed in Kollywood. When she announced that she is making her comeback in K’town opposite STR in Anbaanavan Asaraadhavan Adangaadhavan, expectations skyrocketed!

Now, as per reports, the actress has been approached to play one of the lead roles in the Tamil version of Malayalam film, 100 Degree Celsius, which will be directed by Mithran Jawahar. Speaking to DC, the director says, “We have initiated talks with Shriya, but she is yet to give her nod for the project. Her inclusion will be confirmed in the coming days. The shoot was supposed to start last month, but has been postponed due to demonisation and other issues. As of now, the entire cast will be finalised by January and we will go on floors early 2017.”

We had earlier reported that Raai Laxmi and Nikesha Patel had been finalised to play the lead roles. The original version of 100 Degree Celsius revolves around five women played by Shweta Menon, Meghna Raj, Bhama, Ananya and Haritha.
