Aramm has been Nayanthara’s biggest blockbuster in recent times, besides garnering critical acclaim for the actress who played a District Collector. The debut director Gopi Nainar also received accolades for handling a complex story. Now, Gopi is all set with its sequel —Aramm 2, which will also have Nayan essaying the central character.
Gopi says, “I decided long back about a sequel to Aramm and I would only opt for Nayanthara for the lead role in the film. We don’t have clarity on democracy, despite India being a democratic country, which has umpteen number of political organisations. Aramm 2 will deal with the significance of democracy”.
Meanwhile, Nayan is gearing up for the release of her horror film Airaa in Sarjun’s direction. It is for the first time Nayan will be sporting a dual role and the first look released recently created a big buzz. Her other film Viswasam with Ajith is also complete with its makers announcing the wrap-up on their social media recently.
