Horror franchise film to release in December

Director Raghava Lawrence, who’s recently been in the news for all the wrong reasons, has finished making the fourth instalment in the horror-comedy franchise, Muni. Titled Kanchana 3, the film features actresses Vedhika and Oviya, who became a bit of a sensation post her stint on the reality show Bigg Boss, as well as Kovai Sarala, Manobala, Shriman, and Devadharshini.

Sources close to Lawrence reveal that the actor-director wants to ensure that Muni 4 is a bigger hit than the previous three films in the series. He’s apparently amped up the scare factor to make it even more thrilling than before. And music for the film has been composed by Thaman.

Produced by Raghavendhra Productions and presented by Sun Pictures, Kanchana 3 is slated to hit silver screens on December 21. Meanwhile, Oviya has started working on Kalavani 2 and 90ML.
