Gautham Vasudev Menon’s voice is the most preferred, when it comes to voice-overs. Vijay Milton has now roped in GVM for his upcoming flick Goli Soda 2’s teaser narration.
Milton’s earlier film Goli Soda was critically acclaimed and GS 2 talks about four characters and their struggle to create an identity for themselves.
Speaking about roping in the AYM director to narrate the film’s teaser, Vijay Milton tells DC, “The theme of the film sends a strong message and hence I wanted someone like Gautham Menon or Vairamuthu sir to narrate the first teaser, which will be out soon. Gautham sir finally agreed and his voice will run for one minute and thirty seconds.”
Ask him if the film revolves around the theme of basketball as reports suggest, pat he replies, “No! It is not a sports film. Basketball portions appear in a segment. Samuthirakani’s crucial role is an extension of ATM character which appeared on part one.”
Yet another big news is that STR has officially announced that Gautham will be writing the dialogues for his directorial venture, which is in English.
Clearing speculations, the VTV actor took to Twitter and posted, “The rumours spreading about two versions are false. There’s only one version — which is English. Thanks Gautham Menon for penning the dialogues. The film will be dubbed in Tamil and other main regional languages.” (sic) Apart from STR donning the director’s hat, the untitled film boasts of big names like Santhosh Sivan, Yuvan Shankar Raja and Antony.
