It looks like Sarath Kumar, who was on a hiatus post the state elections, is back to signing movies. He has been roped in for a new film directed by Shanmugam Muthusamy and produced by Sri Green Productions.
The film features GV Prakash and Marathi actress Vaibhavi Shandilya as the lead pair. In addition, one may recall that Vaibhavi recently replaced a big actress in the Santhanam starrer Server Sundaram, after she floored everyone in her audition.
“Sarath Kumar sir’s role is intriguing and he sports two different looks in the untitled movie,” says Muthusamy. Inside sources indicate that Sarath’s character is a surprise — like how it was when he enthralled us in a transgender role in Kanchana.
Thambi Ramaiah, Robo Shankar, Kabali fame Arunraja Kamaraj, Blade Shankar, and Mirchi Vijay comprise the rest of the cast. GVP has taken on the onus of music as well.
