Actor Vidharth, who rose to fame with Mynaa, has a spate of projects in different stages of production. At this point of time, he has eight films in his bag. Having pinned his hopes on Oru Kidayin Karunai Manu, Vidharth has also bagged ace director Bharathiraja’s upcoming venture titled, November 8...Iravu Ettu Mani.
When we asked Vidharth about his recent collaboration with Bharathiraja, he is tight-lipped — “I won’t be able to comment on it,” says the actor. Meanwhile, a source close to the director reveals, “It is true that Bharathiraja sir has signed Vidharth for his next film, which is based on the demonetisation issue that rattled the country. In fact, shooting of this film is underway and Vidharth is currently working on this project.”
The Mynaa actor’s eyes light up when we talk about his upcoming project, Oru Kidayin Karunai Manu. “There have been so many film set in a village but this film will give a new perspective. It is a moving story, based on a certain event that happens in a village. What director Suresh Sangaiah has crafted is an interesting and new concept in Tamil cinema,” Vidharth says.
As he eagerly awaits the release of this film, Vidharth shares, “This film is backed by a huge production house and I hope Oru Kidayin Karunai Manu gives me a good footing in the industry like Mynaa did. People still ask me if Mynaa’s shooting was hard. No, it was easy. It was difficult to shoot this film as it demanded a lot from nearly 45 actors working on it. It is a collective effort.”
