While Bollywood flick X Zone has not been able to get a Censor Certificate till now, Tamil filmmaker Sajo Sundar, a former assistant of Hari and Prakash Raj, has managed to get 'A' Certification besides appreciation from female censor members for his movie titled X Videos, made in Tamil and Hindi. Sajo talks to DC on how he dealt with the sensitive issue without sleaze.
He says, "The film strongly projects the fact as how security and protection for women is utterly important these days with the advent of technology. The movie speaks about explicit sexual content that's freely available on online platforms.
Though the title sounds suggestive, it is not a porn movie. It is actually a social awareness movie and I have not taken any cinematic liberties with a skin show to exploit women's anatomy and make big money. In a way, the film comes down heavily on porn websites."
There are glamorous scenes, which were required for the narration, he adds. "These scenes won't come as an intrusion in the flow of the story and I vouch no one will feel negative about this," he claims. Ajayraj, Prabhujith, Akriti Singh and Riyamika play lead roles.
