Actor Jai is back in the fold after Baloon and Kalakalppu 2. The actor has signed yet another thriller which has a connect to Kamal Haasan. Yes, the film has been titled Neeya 2 , which is directed by Suresh of Ethan fame.
The original Neeya was released in 1979 and had Kamal and Sripriya as the lead pair and was about a snake woman who takes revenge on the human beings because they killed her lover. But it is still unclear whether this Neeya 2 is a sequel to the original.
