Ramprakash Rayappa, who made a mark with his debut Tamizhukku En Ondrai Azhutthavum, is all set with his next film titled Suttu Pidikka Uttharavu, which has an interesting lineup of cast. He has roped in Vikranth, director Mysskin, and Suseenthiran, who is making his debut as an actor. Ramprakash, who has announced casting call for the two heroines, talks to DC about the quirky nature of the script.
“SPU is a crime thriller and although a fiction, it has layers of real life incidents and one can relate to it. After I locked the script, we finalised Vikranth for one of the three lead characters. Then, the first person who came to my mind for the role of an undercover investigative police officer was Mysskin sir. And I strongly felt that without Mysskin, the film will not be made,” Rampraksh starts his conversation.
Buy why Suseenthiran? we ask. “I wanted someone, who looks different yet apt for the role. Susee sir, along with Vikranth, works in a private security service. When I initially approached Susee sir, he was not all willing to come in front of the camera. But, still he listened to the script and was finally impressed with it.”
He adds, “Mysskin sir is doing strenuous workouts to look fit and trim. Very few know that he is a sportsperson. However, there are only few khaki clad scenes. He comes as an undercover cop.”
About the two female leads that the team is on the lookout for, Ramprakash says, “Yes, both have bearing in the script. One is paired opposite Vikranth and the other will be an independent character.”
