Few days ago, producer Suresh Babu had an accident that left three people injured. He recalls the incident and reveals how it was all triggered by the Hindi film Andhadhun. “A person named Sadanand invited me for an event that day, but I told him that I was not in town,” reveals Suresh. He says he did eventually came to the city later that day.
“Generally, I don’t go out without a driver, but our people told me that the Hindi film Andhadhun is fantastic, and we could buy the rights for the Telugu remake. So, I wanted to see the film and travelled to Attapur,” says the producer. In the meanwhile, the person, who invited the producer learnt that he was in fact in town. “So when he called me, I felt embarrassed and decided to go attend his event. From Attapur to Kompally I travelled without a driver, while thinking about that Hindi film. All of a sudden my car tyre burst and lead to the accident,” reveals Suresh Babu. The producer says he rushed to set things right.
“I immediately went to the police station and asked them to test me because I know I hadn’t consumed any alcohol. They tested me and it showed zero,” he says. Sadly, the accident injured three people. “Two suffered minor injuries, while one was a little serious. I told them that I would take care of their medical expenses and everything they needed. It is very unfortunate, but it happened because of a fault with my vehicle,” says Suresh. According to the producer, the injured individuals have been discharged from the hospital but still need some medical help. “I have been sending doctors and also a physiotherapist to their homes,” says Suresh Babu.
