Many actors including Kamal Haasan, Prakash Raj, Prashanth, Sarathkumar and Sivakarthikeyan have taken on the role of a woman in films. The versatile Vijay Sethupathi who loves doing xperminetal roles is on a similar track. He will be playing transgender Shilpa in his upcoming flick Super Deluxe.
The movie directed by Thiagarajan Kumararaja, critically acclaimed for his cult classic Aaranya Kaandam, has an ensemble cast of Samantha, Fahad Fasil, Ramya Krishnan, Mysshkin, Gayathrie, and NKPK fame Bagavathi Perumal. Samantha is called Vembu in the film.
Said to be a black comedy entertainer, the first look poster was released recently and is going viral with a saree-clad Vijay Sethupathi quite a hit. The 96 star took to his twitter handle to say that Thiagarajan is one of his favourite directors and posted.

Nalan Kumarasamy, Neelan K Shekar, and Mysshkin have also contributed to the screenplay. The movie has Yuvan Shankar Raja as the composer with PS Vinod and Neerav Shah as the cinematographers.
