We had earlier reported that actor-filmmaker Sasikumar would be directing Thalapathy Vijay for a historical film and looks like it is going to materialise now. Reportedly, the Subramanyapuram director had said that he had narrated a story line to Vijay and the latter also liked it. It is a full-fledged historical subject and if all goes well, he had said he would officially announce it.
And the recent meeting of Sasikumar with SS Rajamouli has raised lot of speculation. The Asuravadham actor has posted a picture of him with Naan Ee director and wrote, “Had a nice meeting with S.S. Rajamouli thank you sir”. Buzz was that he might be roped in for Rajamouli’s next movie after Baahubali 2 a multi-starrer featuring Junior NTR and Ram Charan Teja. However, an insider said that Sasi met SS to discuss about his period film with Vijay and take a tip or two from the latter.
