Following the footsteps of Dhanush who completed dubbing for Prabhu Solomon’s Thodari in a day, actor Kreshna also wrapped the dubbing in similar fashion. Directed by Kulandai Velappan of Aanmai Thavarael fame, the film, which stars Kreshna and Swathi Reddy besides Prakash Raj, Singam Puli, Melvin and Hari (who played Johnny in Madras), is touted to be a college romance with a twist.
While the role of villain is being played by Guru Somasundaram of Jigarthanda fame, Yuvan Shankar Raja is the music director and a single from the film was released some time ago, scoring a direct hit on the charts. The music was credited as a major boost, with Dhanush joining Yuvan to croon a song!
“We were under the impression that dubbing could take a couple of days, but was really surprised to see Kreshna completing his voice dub in a single day. In fact, he is a producer’s delight,” says Muthukumaran, the producer. This realistic romantic thriller, which has two parallel stories, is currently in post-production. We can expect the film to be released in a month or two!
