Saravanan Irukka Bayamen is the upcoming flick of Udhayanidhi Stalin, which has two female leads. The film, directed by Ezhil, has Regina playing Udhay’s friend from childhood and Srushti essays the role of his college mate — which is touted to be important.
A few portions involving Udhayanidhi and Srushti were shot at Vizag, a few days ago in the peak summer. When Srushti landed there, reportedly she looked around for a vanity van so she could rest for a while — and also protect her makeup from smudging.
To her shock, there was no caravan available and when she asked the production people, they told her that no one was provided with one! Sources said that she even approached Udhay and asked for his help as it would be difficult for her to work in the warm weather. Finally, it was revealed that director Ezhil is producing the film on a ‘first copy’ basis for Red Giant and so could not afford a caravan in the allotted budget!
“Though Srushti was upset initially, she did not show her frustration and finished the day’s shoot with her usual smile,” revealed a unit hand.
