It is well-known that ace filmmaker Shankar keeps his projects under wraps and under close guard. The sequel to Enthiran titled 2.O, is no different. The actors and technicians have strict instructions not to use mobiles on the sets, or talk to the press about the film. Each one is provided with an ID card, and no outsiders are allowed on the sets. Despite these, many secrets about the movie have been leaked!
First, it was the looks of Rajinikanth and Amy Jackson, that came out in the open. Later, Shankar’s highly-guarded villain Akshay’s special robot get-up was also leaked while they were shooting in Delhi. Next it was Bollywood actor Sudhanshu Pandey, roped in for a negative role, who let out some sensitive information that has upset the maverick director. Apparently, he revealed in an interview that it is he who is the human villain while Akshay is the ‘creature villain’.
The shooting is currently underway in EVP Film City in Chennai, with Rajinikanth taking part. Sources reveal that Shankar is canning a scene where the baddie robot Rajini is skating on the roads of the city and colliding with the cars and vehicles plying on the road, creating a huge chaos!
Says the source who is in awe of Superstar’s commitment, “With agni natchathiram beginning a few days back, it’s peak summer in Chennai. Despite that, the scenes were shot on a set that resembles a main road. Rajini sir did not make any fuss and cooperated fully.”
