Contrary to reports which said that Suriya would be dubbing his own voice for the Tollywood version of sci-fi thriller 24, a source close to the actor tells us it’s untrue. The Singam star enjoys a big market and fan base in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. It is a known fact that in the recent years, his Tamil films have been dubbed in Telugu and released either simultaneously, or a few weeks after the original. His forthcoming flick 24, directed by Vikram Kumar where Suriya sports a triple role including a negative character, is no different. The movie is being released simultaneously in Tollywood and even the music album by A.R Rahman will be released in both languages during the same audio launch event. It is scheduled for the end of this month.
Though a few went gaga over Suriya dubbing in Telugu, we heard that the he will not dub even for one of the avatars! Given that he has to speak for three different characters with different modulations in Telugu, the makers have opted for dubbing artiste Srinivasa Moorthy, who normally dubs for Suriya, to take up the responsibility this time as well.
