Contrary to the reports that Suriya will be dubbing his own voice for the Tollywood version of sci-fi thriller24, a close source to the actor tells us that the Singam star is not dubbing. Suriya enjoys a big market and huge fan base in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. It is a known secret that in the recent years his Tamil films have been dubbed in Telugu and were released either simultaneously or a few weeks later. His forthcoming flick 24 directed by Vikram Kumar where Suriya sports a triple role including a villain character Athreya is no different.
The movie is being released simultaneously in Tollywood and even the music album A.R.Rahman will be released in both the languages in a same audio launch event, which is scheduled for the month end.
Though few newspapers went gaga about Suriya’s Telugu dubbing efforts, we came to know that the Singam star would not dub even for one of the roles. Given the challenge that he has to speak for three different characters with different modulations in Telugu, the makers have opted for the dubbing artiste Srinivasa Moorthy who normally dubs for Suriya.
