Taking a cue from the likes of Nayanthara and Trisha, Raai Laxmi will be seen in a female centric fantasy horror thriller titled Cinderella. Laxmi will don three different looks for the film, including a rock star. The actress recently revealed the first look of the film on her social media page.

Said to be a multi-genre film with elements of fantasy-horror and emotional drama, Cinderella is directed by debutant Vinod Venkatesh, who previously worked with SJ Suryah on Isai.
The movie is being bankrolled by SS Productions, which claims it will cater to all types of film audiences. Sources say Cinderella is looking to break the routine fairy tale ‘prince saves princess’ storyline and will entirely be a female-centric film with no romantic angle for Raai Laxmi’s character. The rest of the cast is yet to be announced.
