Actor Thambi Ramaiah’s character in Mohan Raja’s Thani Oruvan was widely appreciated. He is known for picking performance-oriented roles and has also excelled in them. The actor is now awaiting the release of Bairavaa, in which he plays a significant role.
Now there are reports suggesting that the actor is a part of Prabhu Solomon’s Kumki 2. Speaking to DC, Ramaiah says, “It is news to me. The director is working on the script, but he hasn’t approached me for a role in the sequel yet.”
The Thodari actor will start working on Mohan’s upcoming film from November 11. “This is the first time I am acting with Sivakarthikeyan. We had the chance to work together in the past, but it didn’t happen,” he adds.
Thambi Ramaiah is also eagerly looking forward to the release of the Nayanthara-starrer Dora, directed by Doss Ramasamy. “Even though I’ve worked in Iru Mugan and Thani Oruvan, I didn’t have any scenes with Nayanthara. I play her dad in the film and our scenes have come out super. I am sure people will be envious seeing a ‘friendly father’ on screen!”
He also has director Vijay’s untitled flick with Jayam Ravi, Jiiva’s Sangili Bungili Kathava Thora and GV Prakash’s Adangaathey in the pipeline....
