We all know that Shankar and Kamal are teaming up for Indian 2, a sequel to their 1996 vigilante thriller of the same name. They have also started the preproduction work as the director and cinematographer were on a location recce recently in Andhra.
Nayanthara is said to be playing the female lead, Bollywood star Ajay Devgn has been roped in for an important role. The latest addition is none other than M’town versatile actor Nedumudi Venu who is making a comeback in Tamil after a long gap. The actor was part of the first instalment as well. He played a CBI officer in Indian and is said to reprise his role of a sleuth named Krishnaswamy. In fact, ‘Ulaganayagan’ Kamal himself has revealed Nedumudi’s inclusion in the political thriller at a recent event. Bankrolled by Lyca Productions, Indian 2 will be made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
