Samudhrakani is happy about the way his film Nadodigal 2, a sequel to his earlier sleeper hit with the same name is shaping up. While Kani has retained his hero Sasikumar, he has taken Anjali in place of Ananya as the former’s love interest. The rest of the ensemble cast includes Bharani, Athulya, MS Bhaskar, Thulasi, Namo Narayanan, Sriranjini, Super Subbarayan and Ramdoss. Kani also essays a key character.
A temple festival song in Justin Prabhakaran’s composition will soon be shot in Madurai. “It’s an expensive colorful and set erected by art director Jackie. It's a peppy song with the combo of all artistes, hundreds of dancers and junior artistes shaking their leg and we would be shooting it from this from March 11. Having completed the first schedule, I am planning shoot the film at a stretch and complete it in this slot.” S. Nandhagopal produces the movie.
