Comedian Jagan dons khaki for his upcoming flick Enakku Innum Kalyanam Aagale, which also marks the actor's debut as a hero. He was seen for long only sharing screen space with the likes of Suriya, Vijay Sethupathi and Dhanush. In Enakku….he plays a 'sirippu police' and how his innocent acts land him in trouble forms the crux of the story. Child artiste turned heroine Monica is paired with him.
“It’s a laugh riot,” claims its director Murugalingam, a former associate of Karthik Raghunath. He says, “There's a cow named Lakshmi which plays a key character in EIKA around which the story revolves. The hero inadvertently gets into several problems including with his 'morai ponnu' and the how he comes out of it is narrated in a hilarious manner.”
Lyricist Pirai Soodan dons grease paint to portray the main villain. Noted writer Karaikudi Narayanan, who has won several awards, returns after a long gap and pens the story and dialogues. The film is shot extensively in Sivagangai and surroundings.
