Krisha Kurup seems to have got the attention of Tamil directors with her film Azhagu Kutti Chellam. She is now part of four upcoming movies — Salai, Kootali, Angelina and Goli Soda 2. The actress in a chat with DC shares her excitement about her upcoming releases.

She is playing the female lead in Angelina, which is being directed by Suseenthiran — "My character in the film is also called Angelina. I should be tight-lipped about the film. But it  is a very interesting role that I play."
Krisha heaps praise on the director Suseenthiran — "Each director has something unique in their films. For Suseenthiran sir it is the silence. He once told me that silence is more powerful than words in a film. I learnt enormously from him."

She adds, "Likewise, Vijay Milton sir (director of Goli Soda 2) is so fast and accurate. The whole set works in a superfast pace. He runs with such a high horse power and the team keeps up with him."

Krisha, who is based out of Mumbai, wants to dub for her own roles — "I am currently learning Tamil. I can now understand the language to an extent but will soon get to a position where I can dub for my own characters."

Her other films Kootali, directed by SK Mathi, and Salai, directed by Anthony Charles, are in various stages of post production and will release in 2018. She is also in talks with few other films in K’town but says it is too early to confirm anything.
