Mani Ratnam’s ongoing film Kaatru Veliyidai starring Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari is progressing at a swift pace. The majority of the film was shot in Leh and Ladakh. DC had earlier reported that child artiste Dhyana Madan will be making her debut with this film.
The latest update is that team is planning to shoot a song in the picturesque locales of Europe. The final schedule of Kaatru Veliyidai is said to commence from December. However, an official confirmation regarding the same is yet to arrive from the team.
Only two of Mani Ratnam’s films have been shot abroad so far — Kannathil Muthamittal (in Sri Lanka) and Guru (in Istanbul). Sources reveal that the team is planning to wrap up the entire film by the end of 2016 and concentrate on post-production after that.
Karthi plays a fighter pilot in this movie which has music composed by AR Rahman. RJ Balaji, Delhi Ganesh, Vipin Sharma, Rukmini Vijaykumar and Shraddha Srinath play significant roles.
