If close sources are to be believed, Soundarya Rajinikanth has pulled off a coup of sorts! The second daughter of Superstar Rajinikanth, who earlier directed her dad for Kochadaiyaan, recently announced her second directorial venture NEEK (acronym for Nilavukku Enmael Ennadi Kobam), which will be produced by Thanu.
Though she initially claimed that she was looking for new faces for the film — and even that she had even auditioned many — our close sources found out that Soundarya has managed to rope in her brother-in-law Dhanush and Bollywood A-Lister Sonam Kapoor as the lead pair for the film, which revolves around marital problems. The pair, in fact, shared the screen space for Anand L Rai’s Bollywood film Raanjhanaa (Ambikapathy in Tamil) earlier.
In an earlier interview with DC, Dhanush did not rule out acting in Soundarya’s direction. If everything goes well, Sonam will probably be making her official Tamil debut soon! Sean Roldan is likely to compose the music for the film.
