Every now and then, celebrities fall prey to rumours about their ill-health and the concerned person has to come out and give out a statement to quash them all.
The latest victim is legendary singer SP Balasubrahmanyam. Rumour has it that the singer had cancelled his commitments because of his ailing well-being. This did not go well with SPB!
He posted a video on Facebook saying, “Of late, I’m getting a lot of enquiries about my health from all over the world. I don’t understand the reason for that. If I visit a doctor for a cough/cold, people misinterpret that I’m critically ill, which is foolish. The reason for cancelling my commitments is the untimely death of my younger sister Girija on August 23.”
SPB also added that he doesn’t understand the motive behind such baseless rumours. “This unnecessarily hurts the feelings of so many people. Please don’t do this. To all my well-wishers, I’m hale and healthy shooting for ‘Swarabhishekam’ in Ramoji Rao Film city,” he concludes.
