After Agadam made the book of Guinness Records and doing the more recent ghost film Nagesh Thiraiyarangam, director Isaq has moved on to yet another supernatural thriller titled Jesi. The film has Gemini who debuts as the male lead and Sri Priyanka, known for her performance oriented roles, plays the lead. Lakshmi Kiran is also part of the film.
Talking about the film, Isaq tells DC, “It revolves around a filmmaker who does not believe in the supernatural and shifts to a new villa with his family. When he settles down to write his script (for a ghost thriller genre) he encounters weird experiences, which hinder his work. Whether he completes his story or not is narrated in a thrilling manner. I have attempted a screenplay which is at par with Hollywood horror flicks.”
Interestingly, cinematographer Nausad has several scenes shot in ‘Low light capture method’ that is sure to bring the fear in the audience, Isaq adds. While there are no songs in Jesi, the background score is composed Sajith Anderson Raj.
