Looks like Jai Akash's long pending film Chennai 2 Bangkok, is to hit the screens soon. Akash plays the lead in the action thriller who takes the onus of rescuing girls who are abducted from India to Bangkok. He stumbles upon something which is shocking and how he comes out of this predicament forms the rest of the story, says the directors duo of Satish and Santhosh.
Telugu actress Sony Charishta who started out as a model and Yazhini play the female leads. Yogi Babu who is on a high has been roped in for comedy besides Chaams and 'Powerstar' Srinivasan. Ponnambalam and Dinesh will be seen as the baddies. Stuntmen from Bangkok have been brought on board for crucial action sequences. The film is also shot in Sri Lanka and Thailand. U.K.Murali composes the music.
