When the news about KV Anand directing Vijay Sethupathi for AGS Entertainment was made official recently, speculation ran high as to who would be the lead heroine of the film.
Though rumour mills tossed several names, now we know from confirmed sources that it is Madonna Sebastian of Premam fame who simply floored Tamil audiences with her riveting performance in Kadhalum Kandandhu Pogum — she is once again teaming up with Vijay Sethupathi!
It is well-known that the Anegan director is known for choosing his female leads who suit the character he has conceived, rather than using their looks or popularity as criteria. Therefore, choosing Madonna has raised the curiosity levels!
Yet another interesting aspect is that we would get to see the multitalented T. Rajendar in a crucial character. It looks like the writer duo, Subha, a regular in KV’s films are also part of the project. This will be AGS’ 18th production venture.
