Rs 5 lakh dolls bought for horror film

Dana Naidu, a theatre personality from London, has been roped in to play the lead protagonist.

Mysterious dolls are always part of horror movies and here comes a horror thriller Khyla by director Bhaskar Seenuvasan where the makers claim they have bought Rs 5 lakh worth of weird dolls for a particular song sequence. A spooky bungalow is where the action takes place. Dana Naidu, a theatre personality from London, has been roped in to play the lead protagonist.

“Dana Naidu plays a writer who comes to India to research on ghosts. She chooses a haunted bungalow, which is named 'Pei Veedu' by the local people for her study. What she encounters when she enters the bungalow forms the rest narrated in hardcore horror manner,” explains Bhaskar.

Child artiste Baby Khyla essays the titular role. Yesteryear heroine Kausalya essays a crucial role.
