Director Vishnuvardhan, who rose to fame with Arinthum Ariyamalum, went on to create a name for himself in the industry with off-beat films namely Pattiyal, Sarvam and Yatchan. When Ajith’s films did not do well at the box-office, he collaborated with Vishnu for Billa, which became a blockbuster hit and widened the actor’s market.
Now, rumours are abuzz that Vishnuvardhan might be directing Ajith again in his upcoming film. Speaking to DC, Vishnuvardhan says, “If the project is confirmed, I would be the first person to tell it to the world. As of now, I am not in a position to comment on it.” But our sources reveal that talks have been initiated for a possible collaboration. It is also said that composer Yuvan Shankar Raja has been finalised for this yet-to-be-titled flick.
If the project materialises, it would be a third time collaboration for Vishnu and Ajith. An official confirmation regarding the project is awaited.
Currently, Ajith is shooting for director Siva’s Vivegam, which is slated to be an August release. The final schedule is underway in the picturesque locations of Bulgaria. Vivegam is reportedly an international spy thriller starring Ajith, Kajal Aggarwal, Akshara Haasan and Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi in significant roles.
