Vedhika’s powerhouse performances in Paradesi and Kaaviya Thalaivan proved herself as an actress who can pull off author-backed roles as well as glam avatars.
The actress had her last release in Tamil in 2014. She has been concentrating on her Kannada films, Gowdru Hotel and Home Minister. Now, after nearly three years, the actress might come on board for a Tamil film.
According to recent developments, Vedhika has been approached for Raghava Lawrence’s upcoming film which is the fourth installment of the Muni franchise. A source close to the team reveals, “Negotiations are on and the actress will most likely be part of the film. Apart from Vedhika who is being considered for the female lead, there will be two more heroines.
Casting process is underway and soon the official announcement regarding the cast and crew will be announced.”
It is to be noted that the actress was paired opposite Raghava Lawrence when Muni came out in 2007. If everything goes well, we can once again see the Muni duo yet again in the horror-comedy franchise.
Kovai Sarala, Devadarshini and Sreeman who have been part of the franchise will be retained for the fourth part as well.
