It is official now! Suriya and two-film-old Vignesh Sivan will join hands for a mega budget film, to be bankrolled by Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green. The new untitled movie is the milestone 35th film in Suriya’s career.
Earlier, there were rumours that when Vignesh met Suriya for the story narration, the latter was not contended and asked Vignesh to improve it. It looks like that hurdle has been crossed now. The movie is said to be a rollicking comedy.
Interestingly, Anirudh, who is Sivan’s favourite, has been brought on board for the music. Though the makers have announced everything about the film, they are being tight-lipped when asked about the female lead.
Our sources claim that it is apparently none other than Vignesh’s girlfriend Nayanthara who will be roped in; after all, the Naanum Rowdy Thaan star was reportedly the one instrumental in getting the hero and her beau to meet for a prospective movie.
Anirudh tweeted, “Happy to join hands for the first time with sir @Suriya_offl and once again with my fav @vigneshShivN after # NRD # Suriya 35 Love (sic)”.
Meanwhile, Suriya is wrapping up his sequel Singam III with Hari. Sources reveal that its latest schedule has been postponed by a few weeks.
