Simbu’s penchant for singing is well-known. And when the makers of Friendship, Harbhajan Singh’s debut film in Tamil, approached Simbu to croon a song which hails Superstar Rajinikanth for the film, the actor didn’t hesitate to give his nod, being a fan of Rajini himself.
Simbu recorded the Superstar Anthem and the lyrical video of the single track was unveiled by choreographer/ actor/filmmaker Raghava Lawrence on his social media handle recently.
Bhajji has reportedly thanked STR for the song and said, “I got a good friend through this film. Will meet you soon in Chennai.”
Directed by John Paul Raju and Sham Surya, Friendship has Harbhajan playing a mechanical engineer and an ardent fan of Superstar Rajinikanth.
Arjun will be essaying a key character in it. Losliya who shot to fame with Bigg Boss 3 debuts as the female lead.
A college campus story, there is no love angle between Harbhajan and Losliya throughout the film. It mainly deals with friendship, sports and college politics, says JPR.
Composer D.M. Udhaya Kumar sets the to tunes and Santhakumar.C handles cinematography.
