Warning issued to remove Vijay's smoking poster

Politician Anbumani Ramadoss and few fringe political groups objected to Vijay’s smoking first look poster from his film Sarkar, which was released few days back to go with Thalapathy’s birthday. Now, the Public Health department has issued notices to actor Vijay, director A.R. Murugadoss and producer Sun Pictures asking them to remove the controversial Sarkar images from all platforms. They have also been warned of legal action if they fail to remove the said image. They have also requested the Tamil film industry to cooperate with the government’s effort to curb smoking habit among youngsters.
