The Vikram-Hari combo film, which is a sequel to earlier blockbuster Saamy and titled Saamy Square, is shaping up well sans Trisha who was the heroine in the original but opted out of this project citing creative differences. Chiyaan has gone on an image makeover to look strong and fit for the role of a top rung police officer and plays the role of Aarusaamy’s son in the film. Keerthi will be seen as his romantic interest.
National award winner Bobby Simha will be seen in a negative role, locking horns with Vikram. The two actors stood back-to-back and posed for a picture. Chiyaan Vikram shared this on his Instagram handle, captioned “Bad-ass.”
Bobby Simha is seen sporting a salt and pepper look complete with a handle bar moustache. Earlier schedules were shot in Delhi, Mussoorie, Karaikudi, Tirunelveli and Chennai besides Jaisalmer in Rajasthan. Bankrolled by Shibu Thameens, the film also stars veteran Prabhu and comedian Soori in important roles.
