While producers who bankroll films with biggies like Rajinikanth, Vijay, Ajith and Dhanush never take the chance of dubbing their projects in Kannada, Suriya’s Soorarari Pottru is an exception.
An inside source reveals that the Singam star’s new movie has got a huge offer for dubbing rights in Kannada.
Soorarai Pottru, directed by Sudha Kongara of Irudhi Suttru fame, is reportedly based on the life of businessman GR Gopinath, the founder of low-cost airline Air Deccan. Aparna Balamurali of Sarvam Thaala Mayam fame essays Suriya’s pair in it. Mohan Babu and Jackie Shroff are already on board.
Urvashi will reportedly be seen in a pivotal role in SP, which is bankrolled by Suriya’s home banner 2D Entertainment and Sikhya Entertainment. G.V. Prakash Kumar has composed the music.
Suriya enjoys a huge market in Telugu and the film will reportedly have a simultaneous release in Tollywood as well.
