After the ‘Ice Bucket’ and the ‘Rice Bucket’ challenges, here we have a new one, popular among the celebs — the ‘Dosa Challenge’! This is a unique way of promoting Jyothika’s upcoming film, Magalir Mattum, which was started by its makers — 2D Entertainment.
The teaser of MM, directed by Bramma, which was released recently was a huge hit. The Dosa Challenge is based on the film’s concept, which challenges men to take up making dosas. In the teaser, Jo and her friends, played by Bhanupriya, Urvashi and Saranya, discuss their efforts put into making dosas for their families over years, and it ends with one of them asking if anyone has ever made a dosa for them?
Suriya taking part in the dosa challenge
The challenge requires one to make a dosa for their wives or mothers, take a picture and post it on their social media. Apparently, Suriya who owns the 2D Entertainment banner, has taken up the challenge. He posted two pictures – one, while making the dosa in his kitchen, and the other, where he poses with his lovely wife, Jo, with a perfect crisp-looking dosa. He has challenged Madhavan, Venkat Prabhu, Harris Jayaraj and Devi Sri Prasad to take it up as well.
