The Rajinikanth- Akshay Kumar starrer Shankar’s 2.O is all set to sizzle in China with a mega release in May 2019. The makers Lyca Productions have announced that 2.O will have the ‘biggest release for any foreign film in history in China in 10,000 theatres with 56,000 screens (including 47,000 3D screens).
“The next major milestone for team 2.0. Mega release in China,” read the brief when Lyca took to their official handle and wrote, “The Next Major Milestone for Team #2Point0 MEGA Release In CHINA.. #2Point0InChina #2Point0MegaBlockbuster@rajinikanth @akshaykumar @shankarshanmugh @arrahman @iamAmyJackson”.
The production house also said that it has identified China as a major film market after Aamir Khan’s PK, Prabha’s Baahubali and Rajin’s Kabali were well received by Chinese audiences.
