Ambika plays a judge in her next

The movie titled Traffic Ramasamy is based on real life social activist with the same name.

Veteran actress Ambika, who has acted in more than 250 films in all south languages, says that her long time dream has come true with the film Traffic Ramasamy. The movie is based on real life social activist with the same name and the protagonist is essayed by ace filmmaker SA Chandrashekar.

Talking to DC, Ambika reveals, “It’s my long time desire to perform in a role which has a mix of emotions and comedy. Thanks to director Vijay Vikram who made it possible by giving me the character of a judge with a witty nature,” she said.

Elaborating more, she said, “Three decades ago, I did a film Naan Sigappu Manithan where I portrayed a lawyer and it was directed by SA Chandrashekar sir. Now, I am acting alongside him in Traffic Ramasamy which gives me immense happiness. My role has a new dimension and I have given my 100 per cent to it.”
