The second look of ] with a handlebar moustache akin to Kamal’s look in Thevar Magan has gone viral. The actor looks half his age in an image makeover. When the first look was released speculation ran high that the Kabali star will be seen as a gangster from Madurai in Petta. Now, the picture of the Superstar with temples as backdrop adds to the reports that he indeed essays a mafia don and for some reason he hides his identity to pose as a college warden.
Directed by Karthik Subbaraj, the film already has an ensemble cast of Vijay Sethupathi, Trisha, Simran, Bobby Simha, Nawazudeen Siddiqui, Megha Akash Malavika Mohanan and Guru Somasundaram. Now the makers have announced that actor and filmmaker Sasikumar will be part of Petta, playing an extended cameo. Composer Anirudh Ravichander is teaming up with Rajinikanth for the first time.
